the Internet is an amazing tool for research, entertainment, education,
And much more Even though the Web can be a great place to learn stuff and meet up with friends and family, you have to know some cyberspace safety rules. Because it can also be dangerous being in a chat room can be unsafe if you don’t know safety rules, the way children communicate on the Internet is sometimes cruel and sometimes meaningful. Some teenagers need safety rules more than younger children do, because the use of the internet. Its simple to tell a younger child that its not safe to chat or get on a website like you tube without permission.
Internet technology becoming easily accessible, email, chat rooms, instant messaging and social networks are a magnet for predators that can fool you children into providing information about them. The internet is safe
Safety Tips:
© Don’t give out personal information about yourself, your family situation, your school, your telephone number, or your address.
© If you become aware of the sharing, use, or viewing of child pornography online, immediately report this.
© When in chat rooms remember that not everyone may be who they say they are. For example a person who says "she" is a 14-year-old girl from New York may really be a 42-year-old man from California.
© Don’t post just anything or the internet such as pictures nude pictures or bad embarrassing videos because once you post it. It never goes away
Once you post a picture on the internet, it will never be deleted. Even though you delete a picture or something from photo bucket or whatever, it doesn't mean others couldn't of saved your picture to their computer, so then that picture that was embarrassing, or bad, will never be gone from the internet...
